The benefits of a colour analysis

I had my colour analysis session with Lizbé 21 years ago, and I want to reflect on how much has changed for me since then ! The first thing I had to change was of course my jewellery from gold to silver, white gold and platinum. Not too impressed by my husband , but I started off by just rhodium plating most of my jewellery, and then changed them as the years went on to platinum and silver. I use my colour palette everywhere and it’s been so helpful. Now I can wear clothes that make my face glow. I just didn’t understand why some days I just looked terrible or sickly. Now my clothes love my face even if I don’t wear any makeup. I was worried that I would need to make drastic changes to my wardrobe once I found my colours and styles. But I discovered that especially if you buy a couple of pieces that suit your colour scheme and style, it will already make a huge difference. The more you buy your colours and style, the more things in my wardrobe MATCH with each other! Putting on an outfit has become much easier ! I invest in many things, but I think my session with Lizbé was one of the best gifts I’ve given myself - you’ll see it makes such a huge difference to how you feel and how others see you !

After a Wardrobe Editing Session Thank you for a great time and help with my wardrobe. You helped me see my wardrobe with new eyes again. I am going to add a few darker and patterned tops now. The dresses are lovely, perfect, straight lines, and just below the knee to fit my figure and length. Patterns are dark where it should be. I am very impressed. Everything feels fresher, it pleases me. I just got rid of a number of scarves. I´m not going to buy more flat shoes, I will rather find low wedge shoes that are comfortable even for shopping. My new string of dark blue pearls creates a new dimension. Thank you again for convincing me to buy it. I am so excited to sort out the rest of my wardrobe. I was looking through the photos again, and the scarves and my blue pearls add beautiful color to outfits I had lost my love for! One cannot think anew without any outside input and knowledge.

After a Virtual Wardrobe assistance Session: I was contemplating a wardrobe editing session with Lizbe, but I felt very shy and uncomfortable to put my clothes on display. I used to be stressed out shopping for clothes because I didn’t know where to begin and my restricted budget. After meeting Lizbe in person, seeing how elegant she looked in an amazingly simple outfit, I decided it’s time for the appointment. We’ve done the session via Zoom, with my clothes hanging from the curtain rail! I was so surprised that I needn’t buy many new items but could play with colors, and with one new blazer, I could give my old wardrobe a lift. I’ve learned so much about what colors I should wear and what styles suit me - was an eyeopener! For the first time in my life, I was excited to go shopping! I now know how to shop sensibly and be able to use everything in my wardrobe. Every woman needs a session like this in her life! I am thankful for Lizbe´s inspiration and the non-judgemental way in which she handled the session. I enjoyed it so much; I at once bought a voucher from her as a birthday gift for a friend.

I work at a 5- star boutique hotel at the events and conferences department where appearance is a very important part of my job. Every day I get compliments from the permanent staff about so many things I can credit Lizbé for. FROM STUDENT TO GROWN-UP I called Lizbe for help when I was preparing for my first job interviews. My student wardrobe had very little that could be called ’professional attire’. After discussing my situation, she gave me a list of items I had to shop for, right down to the right color and style of belts and shoes. I sent her photos of my finds, back and forth via “Whatsapp” and Skyped to explain and teach me how to check the details of how clothes should really fit, the correct tie length and how I could combine colors , coordinated with my shoes, belts and the rest. I never realised how much difference correct fit could make! The cool thing was that once I had a few basics to work with I was never at a lost for something to wear for the different occasions which arose almost at the same time! From a wedding, to the interviews, to the public presentation in front of a senior group in my industry, I was covered! Suddenly I felt grown – up. I really had no idea of all the small details that are entailed in dressing for the different occasions, but I certainly felt that I nailed it! At one stage I had at least 3 job offers and the one I wanted most, I even bargained up for a higher salary! I am certain that the way I was dressed definitely made all the difference – not only on how I was professionally perceived, but more important, on my own confidence! WARDROBE on a SAVING DIET I’ve stopped my bad buying habits! After Lizbé reviewed my cloths and some accessories, and purged quite a lot of it, I realised how many clothes I actually own and that there is no need for anything new. On top of it, I can now actually ’page’ through my closet much quicker and easier! I feel so much better about my ’leaner’ wardrobe! Thank you, Lizbé, it was a lot of fun!

READY FOR NEW JOB! For my 50th birthday I received a wonderful, life-enriching gift: a gift that every woman should receive or give to herself. It came totally at the right time as I was promoted at work for which my existed wardrobe was not equipped. Lizbé helped me to plan my wardrobe so that I can look my best, but still feel authentic. The almost 3 hour process was a lot of fun and left me with a whole new set of style options. Together with the good advice, ideas and hints, she also gave me advice about using color, and styles that enhance my figure best and focussing on what flatters me best. What made it so wonderful was that I could see the difference instantly. I could see why some things worked better than others. She showed me how a shorter hemline makes all the difference and how to use my accessories better. She gave me a lot of confidence to start my new job, knowing that I look smart and feel good. And as a bonus, I didn’t have to lay out a lot of money for new clothes! With Lizbé’s advice I added only 3 new pieces to round off everything. Everyday’s dressing changed from ‘ I have nothing to wear, to ‘what shall I wear today!’ Her proposal for a new hairstyle, color as well as makeup just rounded off the New Me.
